I tried my OL on RCP track (rough surface) and it turn over every corner unless i drive it very slowly. Do you guys have any suggestion to make OL to turn in more smooth and quickly on RCP track? May be changing tire or lowering?
Also, Just wondering what is the best tire setting (Rubber or Foam) for Mini-z Racer on RCP track, i am using foam now and seems doing good.
for overlands, i run stock up front and a high grip set in the back and it works well for me. anything stickier than stock up front will have you rolling every time
Shave the tread off the front tires with a tire truer. I heard there are also 60 compound but I have never seen them. Also, you really need to blue lowdown shocks to get the CG down. Once you do so the OL can work well on RCP.
As for the racer, you can try a multitude of different tires but the right combo greatly depends on the body and wheelbase car you are running. Your driving style has quite a bit to do with it too. You may end up wanting soft tires for the ultimate hook up. Many of us run 10s in the rear and some even ran 8s!!
