You might want to check out this MZ pro shop in Subang Jaya Selangor. It's about 20-30 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. You can checkout their homepage : www.hobbypark.com.my

Enjoy your trip....

Those track that you saw is not in the shop. It's an event organize by Hobby Park in one of the mall. I'm not really sure about the size of the track.

herman,

I'm sorry but i'm not sure what lap counting system that they use now. It's been a long time i didn't go to the track already, because i've taken my car apart in the development of the MRX. Anyway, previously they are using manual lap counting system.

There's many RC shops in Malaysia but most of them are selling 1/10th cars only. Sadly to say that HobbyPark is the only MZ pro shop in Kuala Lumpur. However i'm not sure about other states.

Again, it's sad that the local MZ community is growing at a very very slow pace. Not many people here are willing to spend a lot of money on this hobby and most of them would rather go for those cheap RC toy instead. While the ones who have the money to spend, they would rather go for the 1/10th, coz they're big and powerful... Hmmm... i sense that the man's ego is at his work here. Hahahaha... the bigger the better.

You are most welcome. Maybe you can drop me a line and we could go for a impromptu race when you're here.
Cheers...

The MZ pro shop is in Kuala Lumpur. Kota Kinabalu is in Sabah and that's in east of Malaysia. It's very far from Kuala Lumpur actually. And no, the MZ shop is not at the shopping mall area, it's at the other end of the town. I think that you can find a map in their website.
