Yeah! Thats the one
I have not made any calculations, but making it 94 or 98 mm wb should probably/hopefully make it wide enough to make it fit a mr02. At least it would fit the mr03n without widened fenders.
If you are doing the fuchs wheels, why not print a 914 also? Would make for a classic porsche cup

I wonder how a flexible type of urethane paint would work for these bodies?
You are right and some users already asked for that option to shapeways, it will probably made possible in the future as an option when uploading.
The lines would be only noticeable on the front and rear.

Paint: I am soaking the kadett every half hour (=when the last coat is dry) in Future/clear. Then I will sand it down and apply Tamiya primer. Hopfully the pores will be filled.

2.7: I made an adaptation of a 1/24 934 model kit once. It was way bigger than the K version of the 934 and had 98mm wb. Was also pretty wide. The Carrera has no wide fenders but should still accept +1.

With 98, or 102, the bodies should be large and wide most of the time.

Some muscle cars are definitely planned. I forgot the 390GT, bullit one, with a high stance

Yes -> Porsche Carrera RS 73 94-98 + Fuchs wheels

And I think I would "need" a "Citroën 2CV"

Hi Leonen, they are both in the list with your vote!

Update on the Opel, finaly the paint went OK. The Future/Klear sealing was perfect. After a rather sparse sanding I spayed 2 coats of Tamiya primer, sanded again then 2 coats of TS-31.
After drying as usual the TS lost a bit of shine but no unusual reaction ruining everything so far
I will wait before detailing, painting the windows etc, then several clear coats to protect it.
Weight so far: 28gr (4 coats of paint).
I forgot to mention that I did not try to save any weight with that particular body. Some details like the bumpers, the headlights etc are filled and not hollow. Also the walls are 1mm thick and could be thinned down to 0.7mm max.
This gives me the idea to design a special weight saving race body later.

I think I have something.
The part that locks the body now slides on the base on 2 rails. It is attached with a 6.5mm screw with a wheel bolt on the other side. It can move + 3mm to -3mm. There are marks to tune both sides equaly.

I will order the first one for myself and check it.

ah Love it

Even if it's a Opel. But at least something else than what I'm used to see.
Great work!

I agree - even though it's not my favorite car , I think this is very cool. Great work, and looking forward to seeing more!

Don't be too disappointed with that first MZ body printed The Opel was my first car when I had my license and I got to do it for the Mini-z Raceworthy cars are coming...

There seem to be a reaction with the paint (Tamiya TS). I sprayed 3 days ago and little bubbles continue to show up. I keep erasing them with car paint compound but the reaction continues. This is making me nervous. If the print material can't be painted with Tamiya cans this is a big issue. I found this story which is not very engaging.

How about an adapter that allows the use of MR-03 t-plates on the MR-02? It would be great to have the Q-Tec t-plate on my MR-02.

Maybe it is also possible to make crush washers for the front wheels with the harder material.

Brandon: at first look that won't work as the MR03 T plate is longer, it would block the switch.
Arch: thats what I thought but it is a limitation.
Just coated the kadett with clear Tamiya TS13 and it seems OK so far.
