Jeremy,
One of our club members is looking to get rid of his AWD MiniZ for $80. Extra parts, motors, tires etc. It was the car I raced last year in the AWD category at the ALS Race and had it not been for a battery failure I think I would have won. He takes good care of it and it is a solid car.
If intersted email me and I will put you in touch. rhester@bowlesfluidics.com

HELLO EVERYONE.
Just wanted to provide a polite reminder that we are now in August and pre-registration is by Sept. 27th. The race is earlier in October this year so dates have moved up.
I have recieved only one F1 entry (thanks arch2b) and a few MiniZ Stock so far, BUT if you need a larger t-shirt size I need your entry confirmed by the END OF THIS WEEK so I can order the 2XL and 3XL shirts. We have upgraded shirts this year to a 3 color back with the same "cool" NCRC logo on the front.
I'll draft the prize list soon.

ALS Charity Race Driver Limits
Hello Everyone,
Entries and prizes continue to trickle in and I am seeing some new names.
This is great, but I am beginning to get a little concerned that we will not have enough space.
We have not called out a driver limit for the event but I can tell you that the facility will really only handle about 75 drivers. This is not only space but amperage of our breakers in the pit area.
With this in mind, if you are interested in particpating (great racing, prizes and food) please try to get in your registration before Sept 27 or as soon as possible.
More info to follow soon.
Russ

Yes. Same place. Pit area and track area will be the same as before. We will have a little more pit area to accomodte more drivers but the track size will be in the same sq.in space. We are limited in space but will be sure to fill every inch so the track will have lap times of ~ 12sec for MiniZ and ~ 10sec for 1/18th scale.
Actual track layout will be posted October 1st, and don't forget that there will be Friday night practice if you want to come by or stay the night locally.

Russ, thanks for answering my questions quickly.. I'd also like to thank whoever dropped off the entry forms for the ALS charity race at Hobbyworks in Fairfax, VA.. If anybody still needs a registration form, Hobbyworks still has some left..

Cool.
Props go to the guys at the HobbyWorks in Laurel MD for sending some down to VA. All the local shops now have them except CWhitts and I am taking care of that Saturday morning.
If you can't make it to a shop you can find the registration form here (look at earlier post) and on our webiste ( www.ncrcracing.com)
See you guys soon.
Russ

I have a quesetion, in the race specs you posted for F1 it says the motor and pcb have to be as stock. Does this mean they have to be stock motors and stock boards.
If this is the case I was wondering if they could be changed to the same rules as mini-z stock, I say this because a few of us have switched our F1's over to 2.4asf boards. That means we dont use the stock boards any more.
Also if I am correct, last year the motor limits for stock F1 were the same as mini-z stock.
Also, the Atomic stock and Stock R are lower than 50t. I think they are around 45t and 43t. Last year these motors were only open for mod class.
Thanks

I need to clarify. When I say stock I refer to the same rules as our Stock category. All of you will be okay with the 2.4Ghz boards.
The Atomic Stock is legal, Stock R is not. Sorry for this mistake. I'll update the spec sheet and repost (see attached) and correct on website.
GOOD Catch!!
