F.S. RCP Track from RCX 2008
Name: Rod Harris
Location: Whittier, CA 90604
Contact: Email using forum.
Description: Up for sale is the RCP Track used in the RCX West Coast Challenge 2008 - Read more below:
Price: $600 + shipping
Reason for selling: I had intended to use this track to start a club at the YMCA. But this is just too much track for the Y to use. Bottom line, we just don't need it and I'm hoping someone else can put it to good use.
Full details on Track:
I picked this track up from John after the event. After the race, the track was boxed up and has been in storage since April of this year.
The track is brand new. It has only been raced on once. It's actually a piece of Mini-Z history. Aside from making a great race track, it's an awesome conversation piece. It would be fun to set up the exact same layout and compare times with some of the greats. If the buyer is interested, my laptop was used for the timing system, I still have all the race results.
I have not done the exact count, but the track is the equivalent of:
4 - Wide-L kits - @ $200 each that's $800
1 - 45 kit - $134
1 - Wide Radius Kit - $75
1 - Large Oval Kit - $300
1 - Tile Expansion Pack - $225
So the retail total would be around $1534 + shipping.
This would make a great deal for a local that wants to expand or start a club. And if you want to start a club close to my house... even better
If you need a price on shipping, just give me a zip code and I'll add it all up for you.
Thanks for looking.
Here's some pics...

Let me know if you sell it in parts...I'd be interested in talking to you about the 45 kit and some expansion tiles.
Shipping would probably be spendy for me (Canada) but I've shipped Wide Oval boxes from seattle for $50usd...keep me in mind if you split the package.

PridgeoK and greekone: I got your PM's tonight. I'll get the shipping for each of you tomarrow after work.
cowboysir: I'd rather not part it out. I do have some 45's that are not part of this kit that I'd be willing to part with. I'll pm you some details tomarrow.

I understand completely about not parting.
That'd be great if you had a couple 45's...if you score me some blanks I'd be keen as well. I'm finding that my six wide ovals could use a couple wider spots here and there.

You should check with a freight company instead, those boxes are not that big or heavy, we've shipped 150lb + transmissions and engines for less than $200.

Rod - you're a bonehead... Quit hurting yourself... Get well soon dude!
I talked to OCRC and they'll take the track if it's still available. Is it all boxed up? Can we just have it dropped off in Huntington Beach? I'll help move some of it if necessary.
