hello i don't know much about crystal in RC world and i have few questions about the crystal sets in the mini-z
1. i bought the brand new mini-z overland and it contained Tamiya QD crystal in the car, its size bit longer than mini-z ones. car works fine and KT-5 have kyosho one.. but, is it normal to have tamiya QD crystal in overland?
2. i tried using the Tamiya QD crystal(from overland) in my mr-015, and driving feels bit different, acceleration was maybe slower when i pulled the trigger and i had to pull the trigger more to get the same acceleration.. i am asking this question because previously i asked if overland crystal set was compatible with other mini-z cars and the answer was yes..
3. i bought a used mr-01 from ebay and the car had band 12 27.255mhz crystal and the transmitter had band 6 27.255mhz. could it be the seller mixed it up? anyways the car works fine, but are they different crystals? 27.255 number is same but why the band number is 6 and 12?
4. i can still control the car when different frequency crystals were installed for car and the transmitter, but the cars steering goes berserk, before i thought different frequency crystal between the transmitter and the car would not make the car move at all.. so is this normal?
