Now this is base on what I've seen in the past 7 years racing at my shop. The fast guys are fast cause they are always looking to make there cars go faster. When AAAs was in the mix guys who wanted to keep up with the jones was spending $500-$800 on chargers, matchers, discharges,& high end AAAs. Then would be buying few sets of new AAA every other month just to keep them fresh. Now with lipos I have $50 lipo changer 2-3 sets up lipo batt at $18 each and $170 cf chassi just for fitment convince. I know there is a thread about the AAA madness around here so let's not try to reinvent it. The OP was just trying to show just a few of his xpower cars.

well said Maj.

I also want to add that as for the extreme costs you guys are pointing out for 180 dollars you basically get a double aarm, a set of batteries, and a cf chassis. Not to mention the million hex screws you get. So for the price if you look at it as a total package it is actually saving money compared to a pn double aarm nimh car. And btw nobody is saying that this is the car to get, just that it works for us.

couple comments i have to make price isnt super bad but its not great im still getting into mini-z's and 2 things bother me about it 1 it looks like putting regular hard plastic mini-z bodies on it would be difficult and 2 installation of the chassis seems sorta a pain in the if ur not familar with the car or mechanicly inclined other then that it looks alright im sure it took some time to engineer and iron out some of the bugs but most likely due to the fact that it looks like it would be difficult to install the autoscales on it and assembling it would be more of a pain in the ass then working on a hpi baja 5 or a tc4 i think im gonna pass

Autoscales/Hardbodies fit without any modification. One of the main design features initially.

Xpower is in Hong Kong so i think it's not going to be cost effective for you to ship it there.

Here at Maj's Hobby Shop can sell you and swap your board to the xpower chassi.

give them a call if you are interested...

Of course, you can use your own favourable brand radio control system if you wish. Stay close to X-Power, more news will be released soon.

"ESC is going to support both sensored and sensorless brushless motors. The size of this sensored ESC and sensored motor are the smallest in the world as far as we aware. Thus, all those functions raise like drag break, boost and turbo will be available."
