It is very near the old Don Muang Airport maybe 20 minutes from the center of Bangkok albeit highly dependent on traffic.

I am going to visit them in November. It was incredibly difficult to find info on this location. They apparently do not have a listed phone number anywhere! As I recall the only info was on a F******k page. But they are open and cater to the locals.

A map of the location is at the web page provided.

Give any taxi driver the map and say near Don Muang (RC City "gly" Don Muang) and you will be there.

This is the latest picture (80% complete) I saw in Kyoshosan (This guy has the latest scope on everything) web site/blog http://kyoshosan.blogspot.com/ I am really loving this track wish I could be there to test out that smooth carpet track.

"Hobby Society" for Mini-z in Bangkok

Just returned from 6 hours of driving my Mini-z at this track. I will post photos soon. It was basically the same as shown in the previous post although they were modifying it as I was leaving. I had a great time after I swapped out my PN6 rear tires for a set of soft silicone containing Atomic 7 degree tires. Super smooth, lots of grip, but with a controllable slip angle and no real tendency to traction roll is how I would describe it. I wish I has one of these at home!

RC City is a complex consisting of a large 1/10 scale asphalt touring car track, a couple of asphalt 1/10 scale drift tracks, an outdoor 1/10 scale buggy track, and the Mini-z carpet track. The shops are air conditioned but otherwise you need to dress for warm weather and rely on their powerful fans to keep cool.

The Mini-z part is operated by Khun Good who is the owner of the "Hobby Society" Mini-z shop within the complex. He carries lots of Atomic parts and a set of Kyosho parts including white bodies (Audi R8 was in stock). The hospitality I received is unequaled anywhere. Both Khun Good and his shop worker Khun Geng spoke excellent English. They made me feel at home giving me track tips, setting up the lap timer and offering me a transponder loaner, ordering food for me! ($1 for chicken fried rice), and calling for a return taxi and explaining directions back to my hotel to them. I would encourage any RC car fan to make the visit if they go to Bangkok. If you simply give the map shown in the thread link and get a taxi to take you to RC City you will be taken care of with no worries.

On the Mini-z side of RC City here is Khun Good's contact information:

Hobby Society
Manager: Tanes Momin (nickname is Khun Good)
Phone: 0831383630
Email: zugood@hobby-society.com or zugood14@gmail.com

Holy awesome carpet track! Love how "flowing" it is... Probably good for some pretty fast hot laps. Thanks Cherub1m for the photos!

Wish I could be there! Good luck to all the racers this year!
