I've seen people looking for a paint package way of designing track layouts so I thought I'd post these tiles here.
I made these JPGs for our local club members to have a way of designing layouts that fit our specific space. Just bring these 'tiles' into your preferred paint package, then duplicate as needed and move/rotate them around into your design. (For this to work well you need to keep them on separate layers as in Photoshop).
It could get cluttered with a lot of tiles out there, but it'll do. You could build standard sections and collapse them into one layer, like the four tiles of a corner or a chicane complex. Then with that in your library, you can quickly click out large sections and have fewer layers to manage.
(Note: These are 'wire-frame' renders of the pieces I use to make the full color renders in 3dsMax).
