Mini-Z Community Mapping - Pin Your Location!

Hey Guys...

I am trying one of those map things out where you can add yourself to the map. Currently I think I have it setup so that I have to approve new pins but I would like you guys to try and add yourselves to the map.

Post here after you try.

Added myself. I actually played around with one a while back, but not as fancy as this one. The biggest cool feature with the one you've got there is the ability to add points in easily.

http://www.minirc.ca/maps/ is what I came up with, and I was gonna try to map out all the clubs, but then work got in the way . Maybe you can start one like this too?

Cool, it looks like I approved your pin and Drac's pin. I turned off the approval thing so people don't have to wait for me to moderate to see it show up.

Did you guys have to join frappr or anything? or were you able to just add a pin?

I hope you were able to add the pin without joining...

Is that a program you had to install to update those points? I think anything that can manage itself is the way to go..mostly because I am lazy .

It's all manually done using Google maps, probably very similar to how frappr's is done. You can view source to see everything that's been done. But I vote that you start another map on frappr, this time only for clubs, run groups, and possibly shops. It'll be helpful for people looking for a group to run where locally, which was what I intended to do with mine.

I added myself. No problems with doing so. You can find me in the "nobody else lives up there" zone.
