My Track layout

Well, I have finally cleared my area and started to build the frame for the track to sit on. No pictures, probaly won't get those until I am done anyways. Its an odd shape I have to work with. Theres an 11' x 11' squared area, and another 3'x4' area off the end of that.

Tell me what you think of my layout, I have pleanty of different layouts in the small area that I have.

All the layouts are in that one drawing, we'll have moveable walls depending on what layout we plan on running.

Lanes are 26" wide, the drawing is actually to scale. I think I am going to build it out of some fiber paneling. I'm not too sure what it actually is, but the walls in the area I am building it in have it on it. Its soft, and fiberlike, but the actually face (for most commus uses) looks like wood, obviously I will be using the backside of it. From what I am told by my da the stuff's dirt cheap too. We have a 1-1/2" thick 8' x 4' sheet of insulating styrophome (sp?) and are going to cut strips out of it for the walls, and just tack them down to the track.

The best part of the whole deal so far is that I havn't spent a penny yet. Only thing it looks like we need money for is the surface. The boards I used for the frame I got from a friend who has enough rough-cut lumber to build a house. Sure I had to rip them to the correct size, but what can I complain about free wood. Styro we got from my chum's dad for free.
