I am a retired 1/10 and 1/8 fuel Pro driver, I raced all around the world for about 35 years as team driver for a few top notch brand as Delta, BMT and Serpent, but still go to a few tracks around for fun race and exhibition races.
Actually I have 3 RCP mini-96 tracks and 3 expansion kits plus extra parts as; chicane, 45 degree, etc. Occasionally a few 1 1/0, 1/8 fuel and 1/5 gasoline scales racers partners get together and race our own race series, we lake to call it underground racing and only invited racers can participate, we go by ROAR, IFMAR race rules but regarding modification to the chassis and motor, there is no rule, as well as, we race pan, 2wd and awd together and we race on-road only.

Hi Cristian,
Yes I have been learning to fly R/C electric helicopter for the last 5-months, donít know if you have had any experience with helis, but let me tell you it has been a thrill. Now that I learned the basic acrobats and going into advance-inverted acrobats, I am taking it more calmly and investing lees practice time so I can start again with R/C cars.
It has been great hearing from you and please forward my best regards to Rob and all the Atomicmods force team as well.
Regards,
Richard

Very nice! Thanks for sharing the pics.
I see a special bar located at your extension kit, probably to stabilize the pretty long 98mm rear end? Is it hand made? What material is it?
I've expereinced some rear end flex problems with 98mm extension in combination with SAS.

Off topic but nice: Concerning helis and thrill, have you ever seen this:

http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=q6F-0rIpLJE

Local RC shop heli specialists say it is real.

Hi Robinz
Yes, the rear brace you refer to, is to stiffen the rear end to achieve a more responsive suspension effect, it is hand made, I used a 2mm thick portion of carbon fiber.
Regarding the Heli video, man that’s my goal. This R/C helis is turning me mad since I started with R/C electric helis, about 6 month a go I only eat slip and 3Dcertainly never let down the R/C on-road cars
At this very moment Iam in Guatemala (Central America) at a heli International competition at Iguana Club, These babies’s would do any thing on the air if you have the hart and guts of course, as well as, the now how!
Thx 4 ur comment.
Richard
BTW:I love your country The NL, Specially the food, it is just spectacular!!!

Hi Richard,

Impressive rig you have..

As I am working on the steering of my AWD I am insterested to hear more about this "GPM CNC steering assembly set" -> I did some googling but couldn't find much info on it. How does it differ from other aluminum / stock plastic servo saver assemblies?

I hope you don't bother my question, thank you again for all great contribution to this forum!
