Absolutely spectacular!!! Price point yet? With all necessary paraphenalia for mounting?
Thanks!
The price should be similar to my other Mini-z bodies.
The front body mount is included and the side mounts are fused with the shell.
There is still some work to make it perfect.
Your Mini-Z collection must be awesome with all the regular Mini-Z bodies, and then all these incredible custom printed bodies in the mix! WOW!
And, I noticed your ultra rare red Corvette body from that odd company!
Please keep us advised to final finished product and whether or not resizing can be done...I'm liking this body so much but I'm a 96-98mm driver and would definitely buy it in that size.
Awesome work!

I wonder what rocket scientists say to their coworkers when one of them doesn't get it?
As first seen on minizracer.com, here comes a whole new dimension to custom bodies for our beloved Zs. Material is stronger and lighter than the stock ABS and can be easily tweak to fit our needs. So far, quite a few new odds and ends were released and even more to come, so stay tuned folks!
I am preparing it for paint (along with other bodies)
The material is not easy to work with. Print lines (in this case they show the body was printed verticaly), grainy surface , fibers appearing on edges: this is particular to the nylon material. Nylon is VERY resistant to abrasion.
But I am confident it will mirror shine like my other models.
Lets hope in the close future Shapeways will come up with an easier to sand material like ABS, and at least as smooth as the source 3d model I sent them. This reminds me the old dot matrix printers while today we have HQ photo quality.
The mirrors need a little adjusting Outside of that, I am totally impressed!!! Honestly, the mirrors don't bother me, as I probably wont run them any way
It looks great, and probably the best thing you've printed yet...IMO.
I was wondering one thing though.....How does the mounting system work when you scale the file down? It looks like you will have to redesign the side vents since it's such a tight fit.
