Organizational Racing Meeting Tonight (Tues, 6-08-10)

Hi guys, just got around to registering over here. Posting this up in case some of you haven't seen it over in the dNano topic. Tonight is our organizational racing meeting at the store. Brent will be providing free pizza for all those in attendance.

The goal of the meeting is to determine when and what we want to race. Mini-Z is the primary topic, but dNano isn't completely dead. We still have the dNano track, and would be glad to run on it, or the RCP (which I would prefer). We will also be discussing parking lot racing... what classes would be popular and when we would hold potential races.

Basically we just want to hear the opinions of the area racers, and get some events planned. My preliminary idea is to hold Mini-Z/dNano racing on Tuesday night (as we have been) and race in the parkinglot every other Saturday, starting at 10am. We have road rail/dome, and a decent size spot picked out in the parkinglot. We hope to have an infrared timing system at some point, but in the beginning we would be operating without one. We figure we can race 2wd short course, with some temporary jumps, touring car (VTA, some other form of spec class? nothing too serious) Tamiya M-chassis FWD cars, etc...

So come out and let your interest be known, or if you can't make it just post here. Thanks

i hear ya big dog. i'm just looking for new places to race every once and a while. we all need to race together more often. i think i'm within 3 hours of the hobbyshop. i would'nt mind coming up on a sat here and there.

collin has been running the 02 chassie with some weak batt's. i'm scared to give him an 03 and good batt's. he's gonna be all over my back. we might put offroad on hold for a bit and i might let him run more min-z.

are you guys tring to go to jersey?

Hope you can make it up for the Saturday HT races Kromie! Collin too... but keep him in that 02! That kid is too GOOD!

I would love to make it up to Jersey but have to see how my family schedule evolves. Wife and kids usually head off to see family during the summer and leave me behind to "work". Hopefully one of their trips land on that weekend.
