I have 2 , 1 i modded, and one stock. Quality is same as all autoscale bodies, i.e. very good. Wing mirrors do tend to come off, as will the rear spoiler if given sufficient abuse. Body is med WB , narrow, though I am in the prcess of adapting my modded shell to accept wide wheels.

I was going to buy a beetle from Tower Hobbies and upgraded for like $10.00 to Porsche... It's much nicer in person - take a look at the attached photo.
BTW: I just got a TT body which is really sharp too.

Wheelbase

One day i was bored so i decided 2 pull apart every screw and i figured out thae you can change the wheelbase from where the rear suspension plate screws into the chasis, there is 3 different types of wheelbases for the car short the one closest to the middle of the chasis and medium the next in line and then long. I hope this helps you if you's didnt already know it coz i didn't

The 360's rims are 'extra' wide.......slightly wider than that of the NSX, CLK etc....... 360 is long wheelbase....

GT3 is mid wheel base.....If you use the 360 rims with it, they would stick out a bit, so it wouldnn't work, because you wouldn't be able to turn and the suspension wouldn't be able to travel smoothly, if it went down the shell would run agaisnt the wheels...

Yes. Set your chassis to mwl and grind the wheelwells so the tires don't rub. May end up looking strange though...

If you use wide, offset wheels that come with the Modena, they will stick out off the guards on the GT3, and when the suspension works, the tire will rub on the lip of the guard, impeding the wheels rotation. So, either get some non-offset wheels, or modify the guards to accomodate the offset wide wheels. Hope this is an adequate explaination ...BTW, don't concern yourself with which wheelbase setting the shells have, as that is easily changed with two screws at the chassis side of the suspension plate

The body will fit if you adjust the wheelbase of your chassis. However, the wheels you're using WILL NOT FIT. The only way to make them fit is to modify the Porsche body (gring out the wheel-wells, as mentioned before). If you don't, the wheels will rub.

There are three wheelbase settings: short, medium, long
There are several widths of wheels: narrow, wide, extra-wide, etc...
