Started collecting in 2005 and while it's been an immensely time consuming journey, I have to say it's been a lot of fun. Wish I had know about Mini-z when they first came out, would have saved me a lot of grief.
My very first 1/28 scale car was actually a Black Xmods Nissan Skyline R34. Shortly thereafter I discovered Mini-z and this forum and ended up picking up a White MA-010 Nissan Skyline R34. My very first Autoscale purchase was a Yellow Toyota Altezza. Ironically I don't have any of these cars at present.
The peak of my collection was probably a few months back. I've since started reducing my collection a bit to focus on just the cars I really like as it's getting difficult to keep up with the pace Kyosho is setting with the average cost of Autoscales where they are now.
Here is a quick shot of my 1/28 mini-z Autoscale collection. After all these years of collecting I realized I never took a group shot and figured this evening would be as good a time as any.
Out of the 160+ autoscales I have this is the rarest. The Honda NSX Arta Autobacs #8 2003. Only 1 of 100 made available.
I love rally cars. Slowly working to becoming complete. Just missing the two stratos at this point.
and I like the Mclaren F1...just a little bit.

This is definitely a pic I can show to my girlfriend when she complaints about "all those cars you can't stop buying"!!
I also have to set them to take the minimal space. My only showplace is a shelf where I have a few of them exposed. All the others are patiently waiting for their time to come.
sun, been waiting for a long time to see this collection
fyi, it's very good to document for insurance purposes as well. god forbid anything ever happen but you will need proof of ownership to recoup some costs at least should your collection ever get damaged. i keep photo records of all my collectibles for this reason. it's impossible to keep all the receipts.
i wish i still had my daytona as well sold it for dirt cheap.

I hear ya man. I have a lot of individual pics but no group shots. My collection has been sitting in this closet for 2 years. Would have been fun to do a picture from the same point every month and do a time lapse to see the ebb and flow of my collection.
I sold mine for dirt cheap as well, $25 if I remember correctly.
