Cruizin and MHS both use I-Lap. The transponders are a little larger than Giro-z, but each transponder has a unique ID. So you never have any conflicts like you do with Giro-Z.

See I'm caught in a rock and a hardplace because my biggest concern is the summer program. How high does the bridge allow to be elevated off the ground before you loose the signal. Is ILap the only option or do I just suck it up and grab a AMB and call it a day! I'm researching it now but its going to take time.
I am opening the track saturday to do a soft run of the pine car track. If you have a car and want to run your more then welcome. There is no charge its a free thing....I just want to get aquainted with the software. say around 12ish!!!

Contact I lap. The system works in direct sunlight and they even use it for go karts.....Ilap will work with your current software as well.
ILR in Cali uses Ilap as well.....

Ilap will be cool. Are we going to need one transponder per class or can once for a racer suffice. If I get a chance I got the splitter and a wireless keyboard and mouse. If not Saturday, def on Tuesday.

Pretty fun night of racing last night...well for some anyway. I've been plagued with bad luck lately and yesterday started out no different. As I lost a motor wire in the first qualifier!!!! Mental note must call Ralph from TQ wire for an order!!!! But then like aparting of the red sea....I won the next qualifier and the A Main for Mod GT. My 430 is off the hook...the car is just ridiculous. It stops and turns at will with no rolling and hits the inside tight.
Rob Bendal graced us with his presence last night...which is always a good time.
Marty you squeek by again on pan!!!!

Oh I beg to differ my friend. YOU squeaked by in Wide. I lost a lap and a half after losing a body and finished right behind you. I'll give you that if we were still running 7 minutes I wouldn't have been close but if I had another lap or 2 I was coming for ya. As far as pan. Up 3 laps on the field is not squeeking by. The 1st qualifier was only 3 of us and all I heard was plastic on plastic for 5 minutes. Only 2 other cars no where near me and you guys couldn't avoid each other.
All kidding aside. I've said from day one that most people for some reason lose their brain when driving a pan car and don't try to avoid anything. Al even commented that everytime there was a pile up the cars behind it drive right into it instead of slowing down and going around it.
Better luck next week

......what.... As far as pan ... I couldn't go around Matt any further. I didn't drive through. There had to be 14 inches wide between us. I got the paint marks on the side of my pan car to prove it. I got venditied!!!!
And wide.... Lol I'll take what I can get. I think rob had me dead to rights and al backed into traffic. Thanks al. As I sit back with my kool aid smile thinking to myself that I won the A Main in a tough field. Rob,Jeff,al,Marty,Tom,Nat and dom. I love it!!!!!
I'm feeling kind of frisky this morning! I'm going to take a run at New Rochelle. Going to see if my 17.5 tc can hang with the boys!!!!

Well some updated info for the Winternationals has been added. Some friends from across the bridge have signed up as well. So I took a break from the track last night. Went up to new rochelle to try and get my TC5 ready for the series starting this weekend....what a mess!!! lol but fun. I'm waiting on the Reflex order as well as Atomic to come in as we speak.

Sorry I couldn't race last night. Juliana had a dance at her school, and Val was a chaparone, so I had Jiana and Justin. Nothing will stop me Friday. I can't wait 'til Saturday too - the Shootout at Daytona kicks off the Nascar season at 8pm. Can't wait!!!
Not too happy about the "Venditti'd" terminology. No one uses reverse more cautiously than I do, so let's stop that one right away. Rather than whine about this, however, it will be much easier to point out when everyone else does it - especially to me - so if we're looking to assign a name to that type of driving, beware everyone, because I will point out the culprits very quickly and clearly when I see it. (Since I end up marshalling every race I'm not driving in, it won't be hard.) Watch out, glass houses. Stones are in hand. (PS: Chill - this sounds more serious than I am.)
See everyone tomorrow. Hoping to have some good qualifiers tomorrow. I need 'em!
PSS - Hitting a board at the apex of a corner and then getting railroaded while you're sitting there waiting for traffic to clear before reversing off the corner does not constitute "Venditti'ing" (we'll say for now.) That's poor driving by the one who hits the guy who's stuck by not keeping eyes open 5' ahead at all times to see the crash as it happens. When a crash happens in your line, you must adjust your line instead of barrel through the object in your line. Racing 101.
