So many of the updates this year were to make the tools to continue to run the the How Fast are You series. I was not expecting to have the opportunity to help grow the series in such a way but I'm glad we did.
I am excited for what next year will bring! The road map for next year will be focused on racers. I am interested in hearing ideas that make racing more exciting and fun for racers. I'm especially interested in ideas that can help racers improve their abilities!
Can you set Practice as default format?
Also, is it possible to save the race settings?
After practice it would be nice also to have "Repeat Practice" just like in normal race?
I really like the interface, also the way you can quickly get started without too much hassle.
V2 is being worked on as we speak! Many people ask for an easier way to start practice and it has been added. As well as a repeat practice button. We will release these features hopefully by the end of next month.
Race formats will probably not make it into the initial release of V2 but they are on the roadmap!
Thanks a lot for replying and also all your effort you put into this software.
I always race alone, on my attic, small carpet track.
It would be great, awesome, and I think I'm not alone, if you would invent some kind of single-player mode.
I think of recorded sessions (laptimes), where you race virtually against one or more recorded sessions. The voice then says you are place 5th now (against 10 recorded sessions for example), 3secs behind, ...
Something like pitstops would also be a fun feature: where you need a kind of minimum time for a lap to simulate a pitstop, or something like that.
