bcrowl, the M8/Mini-Z module does allow the use of the Mini-Z crystals.

It's an excellent radio and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy more their Mini-Z. In my case, I must say that the M8 improved my driving and gave me much better control, plus the added feature of "simulated braking". It is really a huge improvement over the Kyosho radio.

First of all, i must agree that the M8 is a superb transmitter.

Secondly, you mention about the "simulated braking", are you talking bout the ALB? Does it really work with MZ? It doesn't seem to work on mine so i turn it off.

By "simulated braking", I mean adjusting the throttle reverse EPA so you can hit reverse and have the car "brake" instead of spin the wheels backwards. I have mine set at 20% so I can go faster and then brake going into a tight curve.

And regarding the ALB, I definitely agree with you that it does not work for the Mini-Z.

I've done some surfing and have seen a Sanwa M8 radio. Is it the same as the Airtronics or is it a rip off? So many rip offs out there to be aware of, it is a bit of a shame.
