not sure how you guys are doing it but it's an enormous pita to get the wires soldered to the board and still keep the top cover on.

i have done it both ways with out any problems....however i dont stand my wires up like i have seen many do.... i lay my wires down running them under the dds plate
an option is to remove the top cover and attach the wires to the board and replace the top cover
then trim to length and attach the wires to the motor

anyone have experience with the other new PN brushless motors?

PN Racing Mini-Z Brushless Motor 5500kv
Part Number 130055

PN Racing Mini-Z Brushless Motor 7500kv
Part Number 130075

PN Racing Mini-Z Brushless Motor 11500kv
Part Number 130115

i'm hoping to find a good 70t equivalent brushless motor as our club does not have the track space to take advantage of mod class motors.

5500kv sounds interesting, I know several people looking for solid stock motor replacement. I am waiting for the slower Kyosho brushless myself(blue in color).
