core newb

now i need to figgure out how to add length to the usb cable i have the one that has the power usb an usb that plugs in to the laptop and one to the core unit

im tempted to get the powered usb hub and an extention to give it some reach any one have a simular set up?

also i noticed the strengthof the signal for the transponder went down with the life of my battery on the lap top.
but the 2 usb plug idea works great.

also to add pics to the program how is that done?

check out my review Core Review

it has lots of info. should be everything you need.

I did end up buying a 10ft. usb extension for mine, and I haven't had any problem with it loosing signal, you will want to buy a good one, I got the Monster cable ones.

there is a company that makes an extension/adapter that allows you to run whatever length cat5e cable inbetween as an extension cord.... i have been meanign to ask core if these will work so that i can relocate the loop to the other side of the room. i'll have to find a link to the kit...

I have been using mine with a 10ft. extension just powered from 1 usb terminal off of my lap top. I haven't even had to plug in the additional usb power supply
