MantisWorx DIY wing kit for F1

a few facts:
1)the stock f1 wings break all to often
2) the current f1 wing is a few years out of date

i have come up with a solution to both of these problems! the wing is made of styrene which is very durable, responds well to CA and can be sanded/painted to perfection. i have a website coming soon so the pix will be better but for now:

the styrene version is 15.00 and the carbon version (coming in a few days) will be 22.00
they will mount to any stock wing mount or my new wing mount which will also be released in a few days PM for details and /or to order!

yup , front wing in the works, unfortunately it cannot look anything like the real cars or you would suck into every turn if you even touch the side, so it will be a bi wing design but will be radius so it wont dig into the wall! bout a week in the making.

That thing looks sick!!! is it attached to a DDS plate? Kind of looks like that in the picture.
One big thing that I notice, it will protect your spur from rear end collisions!!! This is great.

What is the assembled weight compared to a stock wing? I definitely want to give this a try.

that plate is the new wing mount that i have come up with, it mounts to the chassis and when you push down on the wing the chassis actually goes down(imagine that!!) havent had a chance to weigh it as of yet its probably slightly heavier but it looks better and will not break ! i will send one with your tower bar order. im making the front wheel covers today!!

im definately gonna have a shark fin!! ok here is a pic of the carbon fiber rear wing! i made a bunch of stuff today and will post them in the mantisworx section in a few minutes. i used CA but you have to be careful because if you get it on the gloss side it will turn white, i need to find a better glue.

the styrene wings are 15.00 and the carbon wing is 25.00 and are ready to ship!

enjoy!!

Is there an option for styrene sides and mount slat(to be painted), with carbon wing/diffusor slats?

That F1 looks sick... I just got the new F1 Carbon chassis, with the Kyosho damper... I think I also have another white body as well Just about all this car will need is a motormount and alloy knuckles. (besides a MantisWorx F/R wing, caster towers, and wheel covers).

you can paint it before it is assembled and then glue it together. im not gonna be able to mix it up because the patterns are slightly different, the carbon is a little thinner than the styrene. i think a partial paint job on the sides would look cool though!
