Registered Drivers Database

Can this be exported?

Can this be manually edited?

I have a large database that is full of registrations that are no longer valid and would like to delete them however the software will not permit me to delete any registrations.

You cannot delete a racer if he is registered on a race, otherwise it is allowed.

On the other hand, the championship manager allows to import a .csv file with racers attending race. It's a simple text file with the Racer's name, transponder, etc. . You need ms-access to export the racers table and then you could use the import feature on a "test race" to have the new database populated. You could use Ms-access as well to import the racers.

It is not the first time I received the feature request so it's time to do it. Next release will include the option "racers import/export".

Regards.

How do you then recommend invalid registrations be purged from the directory? It would seem odd that we would have ti discard all that data to purge the driver registration directory which is why we haven't deleted any of that old data.

A racer can be deleted if he is not registered on any championship race. If he has results on a race and data is deleted then results, classification, etc. will become corrupted.

So the only way nowadays to purge a racer with results in races is to remove the race first.

I could add an "active" property to the racers and an option on the racer's list to show/hide deactivated racers.

I can't be the only one that helps run a club that has a long history of race data and consequently a very long registration directory to deal with as a result. Do others not care in keeping race data and constantly reset the installation?

FYI, the feature request I posted would make the 'active' category un-necessary as it would populate the race/event registration based on detection vs. manual sort/input.

My club is new but I see the utility in the function. I plan to keep all race data in some format as would be expected. I am used to an unnamed system common to 1/10 racing and it h as a function similar to what this could be. I am not asking for drag and drop but a better capture and list capability is something I support 100%.

I 2nd the request...

The "active" property has been implemented and it allows to hide "deactivated" users in ZRound and ZRound Manager.

It will be available oon 1.18.01. Details at https://www.zround.com/support/roadm...?version_id=16
