My RCP track is setup on my basement floor. http://mini-zracer.com/forums/attach...2&d=1208832132 what would happen if it flooded? Let's just say for argument sake the entire track was fully submerged under water.
Nice layout. Wish we had basements like that in California. If the basement were to flood, I would let the tiles dry, without being exposed to the sun during the drying out process. Also, make sure they are laying flat on the ground while they dry. That should yield the best success in the tiles returning to as close to the original condition as possible.
We just had this happen in November. The boiler busted and flooded the basement room we used. I had to get boots to wade in to take out the track and stuff.
The RCP track just got a nice cleaning from it. We took the track up to another room and put some fans on it. Within an hour or so it was dry, clean and ready to use again.
RCP track is awesome.

Sounds like tough material! I was wondering about similar situation with leaving it outside and getting snowd upon!
Fortunetly, I have a nice basement that tends NOT to get flooded.
Glad to hear that. I've been hesitant to assemble my track in the basement because it floods a little when it rains hard. Probably only 2 or 3 times a year, but you never know when. Prior to knowing this, I would have taken up the track after every use, which would be a big PIA.
