dunno if this will 100% fix the prob for all those out there, but it did help a GREAT DEAL on mine.. like day and night.
basically, my car would turn to the left fine in small increments, however when turning right, it would sputter and land up in 4-5 choppy steps..
i tried to take this apart and to no avail, however i did manage to try something.. when turning the steering on the controller, crank it all the way to one side.. then as you hold it, scroll thru the controller settings where you can reverse the signal.. and apply this to the steering channel. with the steering all the way cranked, hit the +/- and it will kick the servo to the opposite lock. now do this a few times and then leave it on reverse. you should notice that with the channels reversed that the steering is smooth in both directions.
now switch it back to normal and you should have smooth proportional steering in both directions..
not sure if this recaliberates the POT or if it just gets rid of some static build up, but my car was with twitch mad steering that would step for about 3-4 days now and it was by fluke that its fixed!!
