can anyone confirm K.I.Y. accessories are meant for this transmitter or is there a separate line of accessories for the EX-6? The EX-2 webpage references K.I.Y. accessories specifically.

A little more information that applies to both the EX-2 and EX-6. If you remove the Xpansion module, the Transmitter will act like a single memory model unit with limited adjustments.

Syncro EX-6 Hipoint

Hi guys. How can I set the Throttle Hipoint in this Tx? I have used this my previous Helius Ex-10 and KIY Ex-1. But haven't found that on this radio yet?

Also there's a "FEEL" function that I don't understand. Has anyone experienced with that?

Throttle Travel. Page 43 of the manual has the throttle settings. Feel is kind of like dual rate, curve, expo or similarly named features. It dulls or sharpens the feel of the setting. There's one for steering and one for throttle. + settings are more feel and - settings are less. Page 42 for steering and 47 for throttle.

What are you using for TH hipoint? Default comes at 100 (0 - 150)

For the FEEL settings, I guess I have to test it at the track.

Thanks

Others can verify, but I've noticed that the TH hipoint doesn't increase speed going past 70ish. Do others notice the same thing?? I typically have my HFAY car set at 60-65 depending on the track.

I'm not sure since I leave my gear at the track but I would guess somewhere around 70-80.

Yes this is a fact and is the same on the EX-10 as well. I describe it to racers this way. If 100% throttle is the goal the throttle end point dictates how far the trigger moves before getting to full throttle. So a setting of 70ish means that the trigger will reach full throttle at its farthest limit. A setting of 100 or more means that you will reach full throttle somewhere sooner like at about the 50% of the trigger range. Some like it that way as they need to move the trigger less. Some, like me dont like it that way and want to have more range. Hope that makes sense.

Definitely helpful. I raced last time with TH HP at 80. Next time, I will try the 70-80s range.

So far, I've had a great experience (results) with this radio. Feels so nice and comfortable compared to EX-10 and EX-1 KIY, which are the radios i've owned so far.

Does anyone know where I can buy a reciever for EX-6r? I am thinking about getting one, but I would like to use it with my 1/10th scale as well. I looked around online and didn't have much luck, but I could have missed something.

EDIT: info from Ko ProPo is below, I haven't checked, but I'm guessing the stuff they mention would cost more than a new radio from a different brand.

You would need to purchase the EX-2 Master Unit (80559) since the frequency modulation is different. Also either the Xpansion Unit 104 (80559) or Xpansion Unit 104S (10580). The Xpansion units are the LCD screens. 104 is what comes with the EX-2, 104S is what comes with the EX-RR. The functions included are a little different.

To add some potential useful information

KO Propo EX-1 KIY 3D Expert Grip Trigger KOP16064

Apparently this is the trigger for the EX-6. Potentially for some but not all EX-6 as I was asked for a pic when I asked which trigger was correct.
