"It's November (a birthday month for my family) and I have started to think about indoor activities for the kids in our area. With this in mind we have just completed our first indoor track for 1/24th scale and smaller. If all goes well we are using this for a model for a very large future project ;-)"
Very cool. Maybe there is going to be a resurgence here of some sort. Man, racing of any kind in a RC Plane hobby shop could be very dangerous to my wallet.
Yeah but they are cheap and easy to get into as a result. The problem with the 2.4 Kyosho stuff is it's hella expensive. MR-03 pricing is outer limits. With Losi though you do have a hope of a 2.4 coming out that's $150 RTR or less based on what I see them and others doing with 2.4 RTR. My son told me he wants an SCT for Christmas so I might end up with one yet to test, especially if Cliff is going to have something set up.
im going down to atlanta next week to visit my family but i dont really want to bring miniz stuff so i was gonna bring my micro t and a 3pk so i could work on learning 3pk better but i gotta see if i can just bring that on a plane

You can definitely bring it on a plane. Just remove the batteries.
The TSA will give you no problems.....
