I have a .21 monster! A Nitro Quake. The big 10.3lb 4x4 beast! But not very fast. What you should try is an RC10GT w/ the .21 conversion chassis! My brothers GT is already fast enough stock!

I need a .21 motor and alot of money for my ideas!
I need a .21 motor and alot of money for my ideas!!
why?
.21 nitro, with intercooled mini turbo idea is stuck in my head and needs to be made and slapped into a nice RWD chassis or AWD chassis... just wish I had the money to create my own small ball bearing turbo and intercooler. Piping would be easy....
PATENTED IDEA!!! DON'T STEAL!!! lol go ahead and use it(try to use it LOL), not a patented idea lol.

it would be smarter to use a 4 stroke motor if you going to force feed it, the motor would need some serious heat sinks too, unless you used water cooled heat sinks that would take some serious inventive ness too, but I feel that most people in the car/rc car hobby are anyway to begin with. A mini- turbo what would you lube it with or maybe you could use a dry lube supercharger that is powered by a belt or chain that would be easier to configure with such a small motor too. I think I super charger would be really cool too, the actuall supercharger doen't get as hot since its not powered by the hot exhaust gases but rather the crank shaft.....

Yeah i was looking at those 4-stroke ones...
So my Idea is, mini 4-stroke nitro motor, Turbo(w/mini aluminum intercooler) OR supercharger, custom water cooling system. A supercharger would be just as hard as the turbo, if not harder. I would have to mount it to the motor where the intake is, plus the inner works of one are harder to replicate in a smaller scale(well depending on the supercharger type). A turbo is just a fan like structure which would be alot better also. But a mini turbo has its down side too, i would need to also create a miniature BLOW OFF VALVE, to release excess presure.... SO until I win the lottery, it will just have to ferment in my brain....

Actually, DRY LUBE super chargers look and are like turbos where is just a small fan(turbine) that is why it would be easier, becasue you wouldn't have to run a oil line to it to lubricate it. Plus it would run cooler since its not powered by heated exhaust gases. Yes I know I would much rather haev a turbo tooo it has a better "cool" facter. and you wouldn't HAVE to make a intercooler for the super charger BUT you could if you wanted too.

When was that? I know Saab was one of the early companies too. Their first turbo car was in the late 70's, I think.
