No sure what they mean by "Individual Charging System", as I can't see how the cells would be charged individually through one Dean's plug. Also looks like cells are in parallel, not in series, which is different than other trays like PN and older MuchMore.
Any clarification would be nice. Very little info online.
This looks similar to a parallel charge tray i made /used back in 07 08....charge as 1 cell @ 4 amps.... Hehehe
That is what I was thinking, but unless the cells all peak at the same time, how would that actually work? You'd have to trickle charge for quite a while after they peak to balance them out.
If they are in parallel and one cell peaked the charger would never detect it. It may not be any worse then traditional series charging though. The only way it appears to be individual is if you charge a single cell in the holder.

Although you still have the previous problem with cells in series, one benefit is that on discharge, the average discharge voltage for the pack is a useful number to evaluate the health of the pack. With the cells in parallel, this measure is meaningless.

I did a little bit of reading on this topic and quickly found myself tumbling down a rabbit hole of staunchly contested opinions on various internet discussion forums. I got out before it was too late.
I am assuming that most chargers can figure out roughly how many cells in series are connected and thus determine what Delta-V to look for when the charge is complete. Also assuming that cells in parallel try to equalize their voltages even though they actually transfer very little charge between them, so perhaps a cell could "peak" though it's drop in voltage would be undetectable as the other cells in parellel mask the drop.
Mostly educated speculation. Did not want to plow through the 500+ results I got on Candle Power forums... Just charge your packs in series, or each cell individually, would be my advice.
Glad you made it out safely For the record, I only charge and discharge my cells individually on a myriad of devices, but I've always been a fan of Muchmore products and still have a couple of their old school Cell Master chargers, which I think are very good. Seeing this new product got me curious...
TeeSquared - while down the hole did you happen to come across any discussion regarding types of charging - PWM, pulsed, constant etc?
Pretty sure you already know what I firmly believe is best(yet is very rarely used with modern chargers).
