I've made a new chassis called the MRX and it can be seen in the link above. Kindly have a look. And for those of you from Hobby Park (Malaysia), have definitely seen the prototype during its first test drive last month. Finally i managed to take its pictures to post it up the web. Sorry for the blurry image, as the pictures are taken from a webcam.
Special thanks to my buddy John aka DAMzer for advice and support.
Nice to see the pics after having to bench race it over the last year!! Its a great concept and shows a lot of practical design engineering!! Oh, and I've heard that it handles well too

Racing is a state of mind....and I've lost it
Thanks for all your compliments guys. It took me about 6 months for the design and development of the MRX. There's countless hours of manwork and frustration. The MRX project starts in January 2003 til June 2003. But i don't have a digital camera to capture its photos and i would like to test drive it first before i post the pic on the web. The test drive was held in Hobby Park Malaysia mid last month and it should have been held earlier but i just can't find the time for the MRX.
Okay, let me mention something about the specs of the MRX. The front suspension system are made of 2 independent suspension. As usual the suspension rate can be adjust by installing different spring settings. Same goes for the rear suspension system. As you can see in the photos, the suspension were moved to the rear end to give the car a better suspension on cornering. However, the front and back suspensions are also used to tweak or untweak the car. The batteries are place flat on the chassis and the car's ride height have been set to ultra low. The ride height is 2mm. The front caster of 2 degrees and toe in 2.
After the test run, the MRX is very stable and predictable. Although during the test run, the ride height was set to 4mm, but that does not affect its performance. When going in a sweeper, there's on throttle understeering and off throttle will bring the car back to the line. Overall, the performance of the MRX is satisfactory....
Actually i did thought of putting the MRX in production and sell it off, but i am very busy with my job now. So i'm just making one for my buddy DAMzer now. Hopefully i can find the time to finish it fast with my busy schedule now. Hope you won't mind John...
Hi guys, i just went to the track yesterday and somebody there told me that some of you are looking for my MRX chassis.
So far i haven't really think of selling it... but since you guys are looking for it, i'll consider making a few for sale. So please post it up here or e-mail to me if you're interested.
