The new MR-015 chassis. The evolution of the Mini-Z racer has just been accelerated.
The racing phenomenon that was created by the MR-01 evolved into the MR-02, and now combines the best of racing performance and scale detail in the form of the MR- 015. With the batteries loaded down the right and left sides of the chassis, various track and wheelbase settings allow a wider variety of authentically proportioned body styles and produce stunning racing performance. Equipped with digital steering servo, high frequency FET speed controller and featuring excellent maintenance characteristics etc. the true meaning of evolution can be understood in the MR-015. In addition to high-performance racing, the die-cast quality bodies of the Mini-Z Racer add that extra appreciation of the micro motor racing experience.
The simple kingpin and coil spring front suspension maintains optimum geometry, and guarantees mild control characteristics. The snap-lock system used in the front suspension unit makes attaching/removing the one-touch tie-rods, kingpins and coil springs, fast and simple.
The batteries are stacked over/ under as with the MR-01 chassis, but the battery boxes now feature ribs for greatly increased rigidity. Extracts 100% of suspension potential.
The proven road holding performance of the swinging rear suspension uses specially formulated material to deliver ideal movement over a long period.
Chassis Configurations
HM chassis/ High Motor Mount: On the HM chassis, the motor is mounted almost directly on top of the rear axle so rear overhang is minimal. This enables short wheelbase compact cars to be produced accurately.
MM chassis/ Mid-ship Motor Mount: The MM chassis has its motor mounted mid-ships directly in front of the rear axle. It is suited to longer wheelbases and its high concentration of mass gives it excellent balance and agility.
RM chassis/ Rear Motor Mount: The RM chassis with its motor mounted behind the rear axle can be set to various wheelbases. Cars with low rear sections can also be used on this chassis. RML chassis/ Special specifications generate lower chassis height for the RM chassis.
Electronics Configurations
Standard AM radio system combines the receiver and speed control for efficient running and precise control. New RA-4B FETs allow better power handling.
(No image) i-Series: Receiver with efficient FET speed controller allows precise run times. The removal of reverse feature makes the i-Series even more competitive on price.
AD Band: Special FM radio system provides excellent signal stability and digital servo control. The unit is fitted with I.C.S. that uses graphical representation for precision servo and motor control amp settings through a computer. AD Band MR-015 (RA-6 I.C.S) receives special yellow plastic on the chassis.
The latest ASF 2.4GHz unit delivers the amazing experience of micro motor racing. Fastest signal processing speed available produces a truly direct control feel. FET with double the capacity of previous models also features LED that indicates power status when power is switched ON. The ASF 2.4GHz unit is also fitted with I.C.S. that allows servo and motor control settings through a computer.
