check some threads by bithed as he posted pictures of some very limited run skylines.

the chrome 1990 skyline was reported to be very short run as well.

Which chrome 1990 skyline? You mean the blue chrome R32 Calsonic that comes on the AWD?

Also went back and looked for Bithed pics and couldn't find any.

yes, the jpn hobby show last winter in think it was said they were limited to a x amount. i don't recall what that number was. the union jack blue cooper was also done in the same limited qnty. these 2 were supossed to only be sold at the hobby show.

i still have not seen the chrome h2 shown on the rc style website

there are pictures of 4 of these limited edition cars in his gallery, http://www2.mini-zracer.com/gallery/album118

Thanks for the link. That's very helpful.

I didn't realize the blue union jack cooper was limited. I suppose the red union jack is also limited too?

I'm starting to get hazy on what "limited" really means anymore as kyosho seems to be doing small spurts of production runs these days. For my own personal definition, I think I'll just define it as 1000 or less.

it was just the blue union jack cooper. i should have a picture of it in my gallery. just that and the blue chrome skyline. i think the qnty was between 600 and 6000. you should be able to find a link to the original webpages in threads on the body.

there were several bodies limited to a 100 or so and a few that were limited to 100's. unfortunately they we all jpn market only, as the 2 mentioned above were supossed to be. you iether have to line there or know some z fanatic in jpn that could do the mystery hunting for you. it was by shear luck bithed found my questions and posted the pictures he did.

I've updated with pics.

I spoke with a rep regarding the 1958 corvette and she says it's not a limited edition model. So i suppose that means it's only rare in the sense that not many of us are willing to shell out $170 for a MR01.

tim confirmed long ago these were not destined for u.s. market however he was able to get some shipped here. we need to get time to confirm that the limited qnty reported is still valid.

hard to find does not equal rare in all cases and has more to do with age and availability. for example, i have a 1st run initial d ae86 readyset that i would now consider rare but not limited edition.

soul is refering to limited production cars such as the ones pictured by bithed. these were numbered and everything.

The corvette is made by Kyosho for Danbury Mint. If you do a search you'll find links and more pictures of it.

has the danbury mint confirmed kyosho made the body or is it a dnabury mint contracted peice added to a kyosho readyset? i would have to imagine that there are indeed limited qnty's of these available. afterall, the mr-01 is not longer being made.
