DC Endurance Race 'Mini-ZRacer.com' Best In Show Voting

Due to time limits, and early exits by some team members, I have to conduct the voting on the Best In Show here on the forum.

I only have the small Core images for the time being but you guys know which are which Please vote on which you liked best asap so that I can send the prizes to the winning team captian.

I was very impressed with all the work shown by the teams on thier team bodies. For me anyway, I enjoyed this aspect of it very much and made the race that much better to watch. Please feel free to share your thoughts on what you saw of the team cars.

Withouth and further to do, here are the entries (in no particular order):

Team MKeely

Team NCRC

Team Scream Racing

Team Seven Cities

Team Road Kill

Team DOW2

Team ADVAN

Team Chaos

Team DC

While before the event i thought team dc had a great chance, when teams began showing up i quickly realized it just wasn't going to happen for team dc
while i love team advan, the level of clean detail and quality of work was just awsome!
team scream racing really was my favorite. i loved the color choices and the accent white pin striping. i noly hope it survived in good shape
team road kill had killer pin striping that was very clean and worked well for thier car.
team dc i thought had a unique showing as it was easy to distinguish the front from the rear all around the track which in my case, made it easier to track when going around the large track.
you can't go wrong with the color fade from team choas. it was easily my 3rd pick. it looked great and the fade was very good.
you have to give it to team ncrc for the use of flourescent green/yellow. i could easily see thier car from any point on the track.

We were wondering that happened to the Concourse Voting

I loved my team body, but Team Advan's was pretty sweet as well - loved the tinted headlamps

Based on the collection parts we had at the end I don't think a single car finished intact. Hard to think it possible when everyone seemed to be glitching at the end of the main straight - led to plenty of carnage.

Given the time everyone had to lay down the paint I was extremely impressed with the quality. I liked all of the designs but what I liked most were those who made efforts to make the cars look like race cars. Sponsors decals, numbers and all. I voted accordingly.

Since only a few will actually see the awards I'll post pictures of the trophies before I send them out.

Later,
NCRC

Arch,

I don't know why but my vote went to NCRC. I wanted to vote for Advan. Can you change the vote?

What's up guys.. First off I'd like to thank everyone for they're votes and nice comments on our'e race entry.. Both me and VAzRACER spent a fair amount of time working on our'e SC430, and all the positive feedback from other racers made it worth the time and effort we put in to get the car completed...

As for the other bodies/cars entered in the race, all I can say is WOW, it seems like almost every team had a shot at winning the best in show award.. I have to say that out of all the entries, the 3 that stood out the most for me was Team Scream, Team NCRC, and team D.C.... Team Scream's body was done very, very well, and it probably took the most time and effort to mask and paint in my opinion... Team NCRC's body I didn't get to see at the race that much, but there paint job turned out excellent as well, I loved the color choices on that car, very easy to see on the track.. D.C.'s car turned out great as well, I don't know who painted they're car but the edges on the paint job were very crisp and clean, which gave it a professional look.. One more body I liked was Team Road Kills, really liked the stripe job on that body...

Advan and Team Scream had really technical paint work, but I had to go with Team Roadkill. it was that simple, clean and oh so smooth paint work that made it stand out. Bill, you did a bang up job man. Thanks for sharing how you did that.

It will sit on a dummy chassis next to our trophy when we get it.
