Atomic Rear Shock Set (for MR-02/015): Question

I have purchased an Atomic Rear Shock Set (for MR-02/015) (AR-181) and it comes with three springs, of different hardness I believe. There is a gold spring, a silver spring and a black spring. Can any one tell me the difference between these springs please, i.e. which is the hardest and which is the softest?

The closer the coils are, the softer the spring. Soft, medium and hard should be Silver, Black and Gold respectively, but in any case you'll find out when you receive the package.

Thanks Color01...appreciated...it helps when you know what the colours are and I guess if anyone would know, you would...with your name .

Thanks again.

Thanks Emu...I think the colour order is agreed, but which way is now the only question, gold to black or black to gold. Like Color01 said I will have to go by how close the coils are.

That is why I used the '<' character. Black is softer than silver, which is softer than gold.

That'll teach me not to guess, won't it now. I usually go by color0, implying I don't know a thing about colors, lol...

Oh, you're not the stupid one. I believe that honor belongs to someone who designed a product to sell and neglected to include a $.15 piece of paper with some simple documentation with it...

Duh Atomic...

Better than those springs is the fact you can use MR-02 front springs on the shock as well... The stock springs are too stiff. I personally use a Kyosho red (softest) front spring on my top-shock. All I am trying to do is reduce the sag on the suspension, and this has to be achieved with the softest spring possible...

Cristian, are you talking about the atomic shock set or the kyosho shock set? I ask because on most of you pics I've seen recently I see a Kyosho shock.

It is, but on the pics on reflex racing, the blog, I only saw a Kyosho one, that's the reason I asked.

The RR-02 is not the only car I own though. I use the Kyosho shock on our Rear End, and the Atomic shock on Disk Damper set-ups. I really like the easily adjusted rear pod droop with the atomic shock...
