SSR, You have no clue how much I support my local hobbyshop. I think I am intitled to do a little internet shopping once in awhile. I easly drop $200 - $300 a month every month into local shops and small internet shops. But I am not stupid. I am not going to pay $20 more for an item when I can get it for less. That 's like me going out and buying a brand new car off the lot for $20,000 and going home and putting a for sale sign on it for $25,000. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. The person buying it, (If anyone would), would be a jackass to buy it! See my point! Hell I can buy certain kits with differnt body for $100 and use the $40 I saved from buying your and purchase both the Merc. bodies. Is the light bulb on yet?

I'm not tryin' rip off anyone here. I got the car for $159 at my "local hobby shop". This car is "BRAND" new, "NEVER" used. I know I wont be able to get 159 for it that's why I said 140 obo (or better offer) shipped. I'll take any reasonable offer for this new kit. This is all im asking. If you can get a better deal then go for it. I know for a fact that there's no "brand spanking" new CLK for 60 bux ship!

Your right! I'm just messin with ya kid! $140 is not a bad deal if it's shipped. Good luck in selling it! Let me know when you get to the point when you will take $70 shipped!

>>I got the car for $159 at my "local hobby shop"<<

Exactly the reason that I cannot/willnot support LHS's in this area!

We have several of the 'chain' hobby shops within 30 minutes of me and IF you can find someone that KNOWS anything to help you.................well, I'm sure that many of you know what I mean.
They want full tilt on parts, $140-$150 (& tax) per readyset.
I can get the same thing for $120.00 shipped and get a bearing set and some other items free if I wait a few days to have it shipped.
So far I have been able to trade for all of our minis and bought a few things at a discount from someone here.

LHS my be good for someone & somethings but for the most part I can wait and shop around.
If I wanted easy I would by all our food at 7/11 but that would not make much $en$e now, would it???

In fact, I'd rather take my chances with ebay before trying our 'chainstore' hobby shops!

A buck is a buck.

Gramps I totally agree with you. I have to drive 1 hour to get to a good hobby shop. The one here in Bremerton charged me $80 for a Dynamite ESC that I had in my PT-109. I could of got a Super Rooster for $20 less on eBay. I am a BIG eBay'r. I live there! I believe in supporting LHS's if they help support your budget some. They don't have to make a kill'n over the ****.

SSR I feel for you. I know how it is having to spend allot of money for ****, then you can't sell it because people can get it cheaper. I shouldn't of been so hard on ya, it ain't your fault! Good luck in selling it bro. You might want to try eBay. You can get atleast $100 there, and charge about $10 shipping.
