Technicalrp.com working on bodies...
I think this is great new, posted on rc-micro.de. TRP is working on the Megane Cup body, it should be out by the end of the year, it should look like this:
The guy of technicalrp.de says they are working on a strong body at the same quality level of Kyosho and fixable on the regular 1/28 chassis.
Other projects should come possibly as well, other licences are allready signed.
It's good to see a Europe inspired body and I hope many will follow!!

Sounds good. I would like to see more European cars... That body looks like it would have to be on a shorter wheelbase and would be pretty high, but it looks nice

The Megane has a wheelbase of 94mm. The official presentation will take place next weekend as part of the PN-World Cup Finals held in Las Vegas
|
So, those racing for the Worlds, take some nice photos of the prototype and please post them here

Looks like a new generation Clio, I love it. Nice to have viable alternatives to Kyosho bodies.

That'd be a great body for a "one make" series...looks tough yet would be an interesting Z body to drive.
Quick sidenote, anybody race a one make series in Mini-Z? Stock everything and same body (yet different colour)?

I would think that having all the same body would be boring race. Maybe all of the same MAKE like Ferrari or Lamborghini, but I wouldn't keep it to the same MODEL.

lfisminiz- I will keep my eye out for this one, I'd like to see it myself. All I will need to do is find a way to make the pics look like the spyshot in Motor trend or something.

I just thought that since one make races with stock 1:1 cars are all about the driver...it'd be neat to translate to Mini-Z.
The MeGane one make race is actually quite exciting. I've seen some footage on a european motorsport show and they frikken haul for being such small cars. I hope the scale translates well.
