HI all, this might be a simple problem which I'll check on tomorrow. I've got some major radio glitching ony my F1, which might be low batteries, but if it is, it's only something that is affecting this particular F1.

Anyone any ideas what it might be? Worst case scenario is I get it sent off to get the electrics fixed which isn't a prob, but I should be running it this weekend.

What kind of radio do you use and do you use AM/AD or ASF?

Yeah, it's a bit of both. It's "better" when it's right next to my aerial, but i can't really run round the track following my car lol.

Will have a look at it again tomorrow when I'm in the shop and see if I can see anything.

Many things it could be, motors and brushes could be worn, loose wire, crystal problem but as it happens with this car and not the others that it is not in the radio but something quirky with a wire or something like that. Digger's suggestion is also right on the money as they are prone to have those problems?

It was the screw ixing the aerial in place making contact with something beneath. All sorted now.
