Question Wheel offset for Weider Honda HSV 2010 Super GT

Hi there,

We just got a bunch of cars here, and I went for the Weider Honda HSV 2010 Super GT body. Obviously I need to pimp my ride but this body isn't on that compatibility / offset list over at atomic mods.

Can anyone help me figure out what the offset is, or how to find it ?

Any other tips for a newb when it comes to what wheels to get if it matters at all ? We got some Kyosho tires that we put on so at least we don't run on the stock slicks that comes with them.

+2 offset all around mate.

For tire, use 30 kyosho radial on front, and 20 kyosho radial on the back. But it depends on your surface. If it's carpet you might want a softer tire.

+1 Offset all around works wonder too in tighter steering response.

and if you use 96 mm you can use +1 offset wheel in the back without any modification.

Bruce, does your HSV good at withstanding crash with the front spoiler cut-off?

Yes, no problem at all since try to make this body to glide off RCP rails best possible at battles.
It was at 96 mm from my picture in the beginning.
Now I made it back to 98 mm & still handles very well.

remember to leave .5-1mm for rigidity, you'll see those posted left just a slight lip to theirs. some cut it flush but i suggest not to go that far. flush fenders crack much easier in my opinion, especially with the lastest models with thinner wall construction.

hmm... kinda confused here... you can make it to 96mm without any modification to the body?
can you take an under car pic 96mm vs 98mm?

Assuming your talking about tire shore, what does that have to do with wheelbase?

yes you can. you have to reduce the offset though. mine was +1 +1 when i was running it 96 mm. i don't know if it can fit 1.5 offset though
