Is this a Mini-Z Pirate CLONE?
See ebay auction ID: 1754962678
I suspect this is a Pirate Mini-Z that was previously discussed, the entire thing is black, motor wires red and white? Black wheel on the transmiiter? crooked stickers on the transmitter? Could have been done by the owner of the Z.. might just be painted or someting... but the 14$ price says Illeagal CLONE.

Well, if you look CLOSELY at the second one, you can barely make out "MINI-Z" on the right hand side of the wheel of the transmitter. On my transmitter, that's where the "Perfex" logo is.
I think it IS a Mini-Z... and wouldn't trust ANYONE for that price... probably a fried one that they're getting rid of.

It supose to be a Mini-Z so they put the word Mini-Z on it, but none of the parts are the same as a Mini-Z made by kyosho, cuz that is NOT made by kyosho.

I emailed the seller and asked for a photo of the box that it comes in.
We'll see what/if they respond.

Cheap Trick
That is not a Mini-Z.
The front servo looks totally different.
Also, look at the front steering knuckle, although the photo is small, there is a notable difference.
I reckon that is a coil based non proportional steering servo.
It doesn't have wide rear wheels either. The rim style is incorrect.
The bodyshell looks identical to the original Kyosho units, but anyone can make a mould from an original.
The rear wing has "Heli Pao" written on it, as does the decal on the TX.
The TX has no power switch on the top like the Prefix.
The trim buttons look phoney too.
Yea, it's just a cheap knock-off from the Far East.

Yeah, they're probably Palm Runner in quality. The lot of you should be detectives; right down to the steering arm? LOL. Its good to be part of this forum so that we can warn each other about these things. LOL.

I did a search for HEIPAO. This is what I found.
http://www.cltoys.com/types.asp?kind=YK#888
It's 37 pages of cloned toys.
I didn't surf the whole thing but I saw cloned Tamiya 4WD; BitChar-G; 206; MiniCooper; Porsche...

RC Heli's
LOL they have "plane" in the description
Sheesh...
Anyway, I don't think it flies.. in fact, I am sure it doesn't.
Perhaps the company is owned by a Portugeuse guy in Macau, so instead of naming it "Eipa", he added a Chinese theme in the name
