hand made roof rack

i decided to put this into it's own thread as i got only a few replies in the earlier stages of this work.

i think i have finished the roof rack, unless i can think of some other things to do to it. i put together a 'how to' sort of with pictures in my album - cutom work. unfortunatley it begins after the roof rack was actually put together. i posted a written 'how to in a previous thread. i will edit this post later with that text.

thank you for those that gave me compliments/ideas/opinions before. they were useful in the completion of this project.

Looks really good. How much weight does it add to the roof of the body?

Yes but in the name of science!
Why can we post pictures here, and nowhere else?
Curious.

i have pictures that explain how i did the later portion of the work in my album - custom work. i will write an explination of the framework construction soon. it's simliar to my first brush guard in construction which was explained in a bumper idea thread. i could make another one and do the picture thing for that as well if there is a need for it.
it's not that difficult, see overlander 1:87 work for some real masterful work.
