Review of NML non Turbo motor!!!
Hey Racers,
I just wanted to tell you about my new motor. I have about 5 mini z's and 2 of NML's motors. I already have his NOs 6 cell setup, (I will post a review of that on another forum later) and my latest addition a NoMotorLimit designed Non turbo motor. It is definetly faster than any other non turbo motor. Sorry to break it to you, but it is faster than the A BB, my good friend has that motor. It cost $32, which is well worth it because the quality of the motor is amazing and I love the sound. It even came in this cool little case.
I also just want to thank you NML, for another great motor and I will definetly be ordering from you again in the near future.
Also if you have any questions about the motor feel free to ask me.

Dana,
I get happy when my customers enjoy my creations. Like you, I'm a racer too, and I know exactly where my customers are coming from when it comes to the need for speed. It's in our blood. hehe.
I know that there will be a day when I'm going to leave all this behind, but while I'm here, I will continue to do my best, and make each motor the way I would make for myself.
Many thanks.

I have one of the non-turbo motors, but haven't wired it up yet...it's too pretty to take out of the box!

Hi 379,
I'm only going to design turbo motors for the Overland. It will be high torque, high speed, and it won't be long.

Hi Dana,
I received your car. Since I made the motor close to border line turbo motor (In other words, only a little more and turbo would be required), the motor made the esc fry, due to the gear meshing. although you had the correct spacers for the pinion gear you were using, the pitch of the gears were not matched, resulting in resistance/friction. I added a piece of tape between the motor and the bigger spacer to create a gap between the two gears, and I noticed a difference. It was a lot smoother, and more loose.
When I put the tape, the gears felt smoother. Unfortunately, I broke the motor clip, but I'll replace it. It's no problem, this will be taken care of. Thanks.

Thanks NML, that sounds good, dont worry about the motor clip, I have plenty of spare z parts.

379,
I am currently making adjustments to my non-turbo design to make it more Original ESC friendly. Tightness in gear meshing can stress the og. fets easily, and my non-turbo motors are borderline turbo motors. Hope I'm making sense here.
