Have become big fan of the shorter WB as well ... if anything much better size-fit to RCP tracks on paper and as evidenced on videos too.
Regarding front shocks I though both ends needed to be captured with the pins through pivoting balls vs just through a plain tube like it is now...I'm curios to put it together and bench test it.
Fun fact, In concept and general design the front end is very close to Exotek's double A-arm for Tamiya F1's...notice shock ends installed on pivoting balls.
Front wheels are 0 offset and 20.5mm in diameter and 10.74mm wide. Rear wheel is 0, 20.5mm and 13.72mm wide on my calipers. Classic Kyosho will not work.
The kit looks like it will be a fun build
