I think you guys are missing the point. I do agree miniZ racing has come to almost or close to big 1/10 scale cost. But CF chassis was not the start of that. I believe it's the lipos are what bring the cf chassis movement. Before you guys start ranting on lipos being the cost guzzler. Let me enlighten you guys. Now this is base on what I've seen in the past 7 years racing at my shop. The fast guys are fast cause they are always looking to make there cars go faster. When AAAs was in the mix guys who wanted to keep up with the jones was spending $500-$800 on chargers, matchers, discharges,& high end AAAs. Then would be buying few sets of new AAA every other month just to keep them fresh. Now with lipos I have $50 lipo changer 2-3 sets up lipo batt at $18 each and $170 cf chassi just for fitment convince. I know there is a thread about the AAA madness around here so let's not try to reinvent it. The OP was just trying to show just a few of his xpower cars.
well said Maj.

I also want to add that as for the extreme costs you guys are pointing out for 180 dollars you basically get a double aarm, a set of batteries, and a cf chassis. Not to mention the million hex screws you get. So for the price if you look at it as a total package it is actually saving money compared to a pn double aarm nimh car. And btw nobody is saying that this is the car to get, just that it works for us.
couple comments i have to make price isnt super bad but its not great im still getting into mini-z's and 2 things bother me about it 1 it looks like putting regular hard plastic mini-z bodies on it would be difficult and 2 installation of the chassis seems sorta a pain in the if ur not familar with the car or mechanicly inclined other then that it looks alright im sure it took some time to engineer and iron out some of the bugs but most likely due to the fact that it looks like it would be difficult to install the autoscales on it and assembling it would be more of a pain in the ass then working on a hpi baja 5 or a tc4 i think im gonna pass

Autoscales/Hardbodies fit without any modification. One of the main design features initially.
Can you imagine what a "Palm" sized touring car look like? It is going to have majority of the unique features of an ordinary 1/10 touring car including:
1. "Belt" transmission system
2. Four wheels drive
3. Carbon plates chassis
4. Four independent damper suspension
5. Easily adjustable camber,
toe in/out and all other fine tuning features
6. Lipo powered
7. Use of Lexan shell
The most important thing is we are going to make it compatible to existing Mini-z ASF radio control system with customised designed Electronic Speed Controller, Servo and Receiver. Of course, you can use your own favourable brand radio control system if you wish. The ultimate objective of us is to let you playing this "Palm" sized touring car as if you were playing your 1/10 one.
Stay close to X-Power, more news will be released soon.
"ESC is going to support both sensored and sensorless brushless motors. The size of this sensored ESC and sensored motor are the smallest in the world as far as we aware. Thus, all those functions raise like drag break, boost and turbo will be available." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMJONAUp7eM
Awaits now for it's World Debut!
