Atomic I.A.S for MR-03. Anyone tested?

Hi guys.
Have anyone tried the IAS suspension yet?

Please chime in with your results

Initial/Adjusting setup spring collars for I.A.S.

Ive been testing out the front end for a few weeks and have been getting great results. It's definitely the best bang for the buck in terms of quality and performance. So far I've been able to run faster lap times than my Reverse King Pin style setup that I've used for years. I'll post a write up on how to dial it in when I get all the parts and test different settings.

The write up might be awhile, but the most useful tip I can give now is how to adjust the spring collars. Requires a setup board or flat surface and sharp tool (flat head, or small hex driver)
1) Set Collars to around the middle range visually.
2) Add shims above the knuckles to your own ride height.
3) Add battery's to the car with clips
4) Place car on setup board and have the rear motor pod facing you.
5) Lift center of motor pod and watch to see if rear tires lift off the surface at the same time. The goal is to have both tires lift at the same time. If this isn't set correctly, the car will spin out because the car is tweaked.
-If the passenger side lifts off first, +Tension to driver side spring collar or -Tension on passenger spring collar.
-If the Driver side lifts off first, +Tension to passenger side spring collar or -Tension on driver spring collar.
6) Check to see if front ride height is to your liking, you may be able to adjust the spring collars to adjust your final height. If you chose to do this, repeat step 5.

I hope this help.

Thanks!
Are the length of the arms the same as the stock units?

I also ordered the anti-roll bar with it. It was just a mere $5 extra. Do you think that's usefull?

Hi Rune!

I've been using this since I first got it (~4 weeks ago). In my opinion, I was able to improve my car with the front shock absorbption, but I ended up with my own assembly combo:
-Atomic IAS upper arms
-Atomic IAS front shocks with 15000 kyosho diff grease
-Reflex racing low down silver springs under the lower arm ball
-Reflex racing adjustable top arm mounts
-Reflex racing lower tower bar

It's a real pain to fit under practially any racing body though. Possible with an unlowered Mosler and 10 minutes of dremel work. Audi R8 might work. 599, 430, Honda, etc. will not work.

PS. The quality of the shocks of totally different from earlier Atomic shocks. When compared to, for example, the ones reflex uses in their rear side dampers, these need zero preparation or smoothing, even the air holes are there. Also the fit of the balls and cups is perfect. No slop, no binding.

Good to hear Jesse!
How long are the shocks? Possible to use as side dampers? They look to short, but its hard to see from the pics.

Mine came in today. On alu ring is wrong. It totally stripped on of the plastic screws as you can see in the pics. Really has to do with the ring as the other ring slides on easily and the faulty ring also doesn't work on the other screw.
Even lubed it with a bit of teflon.

Mailed Atomic to send me a replacement. Not to keen on quality

How's total weight? is it heavier than (for example) reflex racing front suspension?
