pchan0's MR-02 RM/MM

Just thought I would start up a thread for my chassis updates. Right now it is a 94mm car, I'm still waiting for my 94rm to show up and maybe I'll build up another car. I'll keep on using this thread for my new chassis, pit, radio shots.

Here is my pit. A little messier, but it is "unposed". hahaha! It's funny how everyone always leaves cell phone and wallet on the table...

I did have to remove the latest version of the prototype car though.

Oops, that is a gear diff on my mod car, but only as a placeholder. It's even got bushings in the pod for now! I think I left my ball diff at the apt...

Okay okay, I did clean it up before the pictures...

Damn, I wish I had that many cars to tinker with...

Sorry to dig up the thread, pchan0 how do you like the 94mm ML damper setup compared to the RM setup with the RML v2 damper? I currently have a few cars (02 f360 and 01 McLaren) setup with the PN ML motor mount and damper setup, and like them alot. My friend has the RML v1 damper, and it is pretty nice although he races with my f360.

Thanks,
EMU

Hey EMU, I'm sure you and most guys are running on RCP tracks but I run on Ozite carpet track which has a different traction characteristics then RCP and we can not get the triple shock RM setting work on our track at all.

We run on RCP. Does the rear come out on you with the RM triple shock? You may want to try mounting the shocks without the springs and see how that works.

It hops. If I have to take out the springs to get it work, might as well not use the whole system at all.
