Iwaver 02 chassis

Hello once again. Here we have an Iwaver 02 chassis. This is not to be confused with the new 02M that isn't available yet, but the chassis is identical. Only difference with the 02M is the circuitry, much better electronics package, and the fact that the 02M has a standard 3-pin connector for useing any micro servo you want for steering.
Here are photos of my Iwaver with black Lamborghini Murcielago body and some aluminum upgrades. I've had no problems with this car yet except for setting up the controls.

Only disapointments was upon cars arrivel. Some reason, Iwaver FORGOT!!! to include the battery clips when they packaged it! But toy east.com was gracious enough to send me a new set free. Beleive it or not, Iwaver offers carbon fiber chassis for this car!









Side note, only trouble I had with mounting the Murcielago body on the Iwaver chassis, was getting the front body locking plate mounted on the aluminum suspension mount. You have to shave off a bit to get it to fit right.

I have that chasis and it performs great. It has fantastic speed and it rides so smoooth... it's a pleasure to drive it.

How does it perform with that body? it's a great low / wide body, so i guess it must be a nice ride.... is it?

I have not yet run it with the body, I imagine it won' be much different than without. The aluminum upgrades are of a nice quality. I had to use MR02 king pins for the suspension as the stock Iwaver king pins did not fit the aluminum suspension mount. Plus, the MR02 king pin is much smoother and you'll get a smoother suspension. But, you'll have to use the C-clips that come with the MR02 king pins, the Iwaver C-clips are a bit too big to snap in place.
